At By The Sea Dog Training, every session is designed to strengthen the bond between you and your dog — whether you’re starting fresh with a new puppy, working through behavioral challenges with an adult dog, or helping your furry loved one feel more confident and balanced.

All training is private and in-home, allowing your dog to learn comfortably in familiar surroundings.

Introductory Visits: Building the Bond

Price: $145–$350 (paid at the first appointment)

Includes: Release form for By The Sea Dog Training

Sessions: 2 private sessions (45 minutes each)

Session Breakdown

1st Session – Your Home or Yard:

Rider will visit your home to meet both you and your dog in their familiar environment.

2nd Session – Your Home:

A follow-up session to continue observing and bonding with your pup while building a foundation of trust.

Purpose

These first sessions allow Rider, you, and your dog to build mutual understanding and comfort. During each visit, Rider observes your dog’s daily routine and interactions, focusing on:

• Feeding time
• Playtime
• Lounge time
• Rest time
• Outdoor time

The following day, you’ll receive a typed game plan via email, outlining Rider’s notes and recommendations tailored specifically to your dog’s personality and needs.

Training Puppies & Adult Dogs

Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy or refining your adult dog’s manners, training is a rewarding journey that improves communication, behavior, and your family’s lifestyle.

Rider’s Training Programs

• Puppy Training: Birth to 2 years old
• Adult Dog Training: 3 to 14 years old

Initial Consultation

• 2 sessions: $145–$300
• Additional dog: Priced accordingly

Step 1: In-Home Dog & Lifestyle Observation

Rider will visit your home for a 45-minute session (with your supervision) to:

✔ Observe your dog’s personality and behavior

✔ Listen to your training goals

✔ Assess your daily routine and environment

This helps determine a personalized training plan suited to your dog’s temperament and your family’s lifestyle.

Step 2: Personalized Training Plan

After your second session, you’ll receive a typed and detailed training game plan outlining strategies for long-term success.

From here, you may:

• Continue independently using the provided guidance, or
• Continue working with Rider by selecting an ongoing training package.

Rider’s Training Recommendations

• 1–2 sessions per week (practice at home between sessions)

Average Training Program: 5–13 Sessions

• 5 Sessions: Establish a solid foundation
• 8 Sessions: Build a structured training framework
• 13 Sessions: Reinforce long-term success

Puppy Training + Photoshoot

Train your puppy and capture a few adorable professional photos along the way!

• 2 private sessions: $145–$250
• Each session: 40 minutes
• Payment: Full amount due at the first session (cash)
• Location: Both sessions at your home

Session Focus

• Behavior assessment and basic obedience
• Tools, leashes, and training techniques
• Personalized game plan to practice between sessions

After completing the first two sessions, you can continue your dog’s journey with one of Rider’s extended packages:

• 3 Sessions: $280
• 5 Sessions: $420
• 7–10 Sessions: $540–$780

Each extended package includes a custom written training template to help you stay consistent and confident.

Train your adult dog while capturing their personality with professional photos!

• 2 sessions: $280
• Each session: 40 minutes
• Location: Your home or Rider’s property
• Payment: Full amount due at the first session (cash)

Advanced Training Options:

After your first two sessions, you can continue with:

• 4 Sessions: $300
• 6 Sessions: $450

High-energy, private sessions can take place at your home or a local dog park. Drop-off and pick-up options are available.

By the end of training, Rider will provide a custom written guideline to help you maintain progress at home.
